SCCLGA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP 2022
Erin Huskie (Stirling) is the 2022 Champion.

This year’s Junior Championship was played at West Lothian Golf Club on the
19th and 21st July.
The result of the qualifier was:
1. Erin Huskey - 82 gross (6) = 76 net
2. Lara Douglas - 83 (8) = 75
3. Eva Woodward - 83 (9) = 74
4. Erin MacAlpine - 98 (16) = 82
Erin H won her semi final 5 & 4 and Lara won hers 1 up.
In the final, Lara took an early lead winning the first hole, but Erin kept focused and took the lead back with a birdie at the 5th and at the turn was 2 up. Lara won the 11th hole to get the gap back to 1 before Erin scored another birdie on the 12th to take her lead back to 2. The game continued to be close with both players taking their chances. Erin had her 3rd birdie on the 16th to go back to 2 up but yet again Lara fought back and approaching the 18th tee the difference was back to 1 shot. A draw on the final green saw Erin take the title of Junior Champion.
Congratulations to all 4 girls who played both days in fantastic spirts and displayed an excellent level of golf.
