Winter Round Robin 2024-25
The Section winners of the Round Robin are as follows:
  • Section 1: Margaret Tough & Lindsey Wilson
  • Section 2: Sheona McLaren & Sheena Litster
  • Section 3: Susan Hagan & Rena Curran
  • Section 4: Alison Martin & Jacqui Golding


The Semi – Finals – to be played by 14th May approx (final within 3 weeks afterwards where able) 
The matches are to be played at West Lothian Golf Club. Please see the email for contact info.

Latest Standings as at 2024-2025:

Foursomes handicap match play competition played on weekdays between October and March. Players must be available to play on a minimum of 2 week days. Each couple plays all others in the section and should arrange to play games by mutual agreement, playing some games away from home.
 
3/8th Difference of Combined Handicap shall be used for all games apart from the semi-finals and Final where it will be ½ difference of combined Handicap and are played on a neutral course.
 
All matches should be played by 17th March 2025 with at least 2 to be played by 31st December 2024.
 
In case of withdrawals please try upmost to find substitute partner for remainder of competition
 
SUBSTITUTION OPTION: If a player is unable to complete their matches due to injury / illness you may arrange a new partner as a ‘permanent substitute’ in order to complete the matches as an alternative to withdrawing from the competition altogether. The Competition Secretary should be advised of the change in pairing.
 
WITHDRAWALS: In the event of a team withdrawal (and a substitution cannot be found) any games played by them shall be declared null and void including any points won by opposing pairs as a result of games played.
 
If a match is conceded by mutual agreement, points will be awarded but no holes up given.
 
 
ALL COUPLES MUST SEND ALL RESULTS IN WRITING TO THE SECRETARY ([email protected]). Please indicate holes up and holes down in the result.
  • 31st December 2024 – so an update at the half way stage can be provided
  • 24th March 2025 – all results
 
WIN = 2 points, Halved Match = 1 point each.
Where a tie for group winners exists - shall be decided based on the total number of games won THEN by the pair with the most holes up THEN the least holes down.
 
If there is a problem the committee should be informed in advance of the closing date.
 
Semi – Finals to be played by 5th May 2025 and Final by 31st May 2025 (neutral course decided by Secretary or Competition Secretary on a mutually agreed date between the pairs involved)
